Just now on Hannity, Sean read an article from the "Chronicle" (Houston Chronicle???) which indicated Earle had stood up at a Democratic Fundraiser and announced he was the man who would take down Tom Delay. Does anyone have a link to that article?
Apparently this "Earle" has even handed out transcripts of his comments. I suspect that this case is over before it begins due to that fact alone.
I see attended a Democratic fundraiser in Dallas on May 12, in and publicly discussed DeLay. I don't see what he actually said, not sure if your version is correct or not, looking
OK I see a link that says he said "uncomplimentary" things about delay at a fundraiser. The link to Houston Chronicle article is dead. I'll keep looking
Found it!!
Here is the transcript of his comments:

I am asking for confirmation. Can you comprehend that?
Remember SH still hasn't visited the troops overseas, cause he must tow the mouse cooperate line.
I am curious what this has to do with Hanity visiting the troops (rolls eyes).
Regardless of how the case plays out, a lot of damage was done with the indictment. So the Demonrats win on that basis.

Fer crying out loud! I wouldn't give two hoots for Hannity either, but your comment is ridiculous.
Just adding additional information about a huckster.
Huckster, somebody always trying to sell you something that has no value.
All they'll win over is their choir of the uneducated and infirmed.
WHY would SH have to visit the troops??? How ridiculous. I support the troops and I haven't visited them either.
Yeah, Hannity is to Talk Radio is what tabloids are to real news.
This is unrelated, but in the article you mentioned, it quotes him as saying:
"It’s like the Alcoholics Anonymous model, where the first of the Twelve Steps requires us to take a fearless moral inventory.
I was made an honorary member of AA when I was a municipal judge and I used to speak often to AA groups and I occasionally still do. I tell them that they are the lucky ones; they know what’s wrong with them; the rest of us just have to guess. "
First, The First step of AA is: We admitted we were powerless over alcohol and our lives became unmanageable. Hello, the inventory does not come till Step 4: Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
Second, nobody is ever made an "Honorary Member of AA".
Sorry, but I have been sober for over 17 years and this guy is using AA to make a point. If he knew anything about AA, he would know that in the 12 traditions it states in tradition 10:
10. Alcoholics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the A.A. name ought never be drawn into public controversy.
This guy is a class act.
Sorry, I just got really ticked.
