No; you don't focus on the thought or the motive behind the action; you focus on the BEHAVIOR. Bullying behavior is UNACCEPTABLE for ANY reason.

This is a ploy to start talking about sexual orientation and having kids focus on sex and question their own orientation. JUST SAY NO to this garbage.

Weren't you given codes of acceptable bdhavior when you were in school? Did any thing about sexual orientation come up? NO... because the schools weren't ruled by Planned Parenthood and other perverse organizations as they are now.

How about protecting kids from this nefarious agenda??

That's one of many reasons why my wife and I home school our children.

Most schools don't yet but that is changing. Sue the school. Liberals do it all the time over less.

Father of home schooled children, for the same reason.

But if the kids are gay (or even just being called gay) and they are being bullied then that is absolutely wrong and other students should try to stop it and I see nothing wrong with promising in advance to stop bullying for whatever reason.

I'm with you.

Respect and anti-bullying can be taught without bringing in the sexual issue. This is a ruse by the pro-gay agenda NEA

Exactly! This is just a way to push the homosexual agenda by telling the kids that it's just as natural as heterosexuality and if anyone disagrees they must be homophobes.

Thanks, Coleus - I'll be a-pinging this one out tomorrow.

Get Back In The Closet - sounds good.

Or better yet: Leave the "gay" life behind - tens of thousands have!

excuse me, but keeping your private life private isn't "repression," it's maturity.

if they want to egage culture, then culture needs to engage them back and tell them what to do with their agenda.

If one's going to run a "sweep-it-under-the-rug" counter-theme week, I dont see it challenging students lied to by the GLSEN garbage.

National peer-led programs which teach skills of modesty and being chaste until marriage (between a man and woman) - like True Love Waits - right now are a great national counterattack to the crap GLSEN promotes. And its a positive message to students instead of just get outta here.

"How about protecting kids from this nefarious agenda??"

If we are talking about the agenda of getting special rights for homosexuals, then I am with you - that agenda is bad.

If we are talking about government support for gay marriage - that's bad too - the government has no reason to incent gay marriage.

But if we are talking about the agenda of being ableto be gay and say you are gay and not be bullied for it then I disagree - the same rules should apply to everybody - and since I don't want to see all discussion of who we are attracted to banned I don't think it is right to see it banned for homosexuals.

Equal protection, not special protection.
