George Allen Supports "Operation Offset" On Hardball
MSNBC ^ | 09/27/05 | MSNBC

Posted on 9/29/2005, 5:39:29 PM by GOPGuide

MATTHEWS: Well, why do you think the speaker of the House has shut up one of his members, one of his Republicans who has been trying to talk about cutting other expenditures to make up—to pay for this cost in the relief effort?

(CROSSTALK)

MATTHEWS: Why is he telling him to shut up?

G. ALLEN: I don‘t think he ought to, because I think we ought to look at places where we can offset some of this added spending.

MATTHEWS: Name a program you would cut.

G. ALLEN: Well, there‘s a variety of things we have put on the table, everything from delaying the prescription drug benefit. But that has been knocked off the table. There are different things, global AIDS initiative, where the funding is more than even the president responded.

MATTHEWS: Right.

G. ALLEN: I would get rid of the whole surgeon‘s general office.

(CROSSTALK)

MATTHEWS: They‘re not a surgeon. They‘re not a general. They‘re just a nanny.

So what's wrong with what Allen said??? I waded through the whole thing, having to gloss over Dick Dustbin so I didn't loose my lunch.

I think they should eliminate ATF too. Ronald Reagan wanted to.

Who the hell needs them?? Let the FBI and local government take over from these Gestapo like goons who terrorize law-abiding citizens.

Nothing. I want to see him take the oath of office in January, 2009.

"They wont cut anything. They all are cowards, losers, and traitors to the Union...Wow...that felt good."

It bears repeating....especially the traitors to the Union part.

In my mind he's in the running with Tancredo and Pence, possibly Gingrich, ideally Zell Miller - but he's too old.

My ideal candidate would combine the attributes of Genghis Khan, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, George Washington, Vlad Tepes, and Davy Crockett.

Virginia Governor's are not term limited per se.

They can hold multiple terms. Just not consecutively.

Time for us Virginians to take the initiative to turn this country around again. We did it the first time. We have experience.

Can some one permanently shut up this petulant, whining, insufferable, blabbering, blubbering, moronic, pathetic CoomuDem operative?? Here's a blatant anti-American, anti-Bush, anti-Conservative blowhard who can't shut up about his visit to Rome and his "Private Audience" with the Pope while publically advocating abortion and NO parental notification, the homosexual agenda, and every sickening Liberal issue. He's sickening, he's irritating, and his habit of asking a 12 minute run-on "question" (which is nothing more than his own warped viewpoint) and then interrupts the guest after he gets the first word out of his mouth.

I really like the idea of an Allen/Coleman ticket! Who is governor of MN? R or D?
