Though Former President Jimmy Carter touched on many serious issues at the 24th annual Carter Town Hall Meeting, the event started off with some laughs.
< snip >
The second image Carter recalled was of a young Ethiopian girls eagerness to demonstrate that she, like her brother, could use the small latrine their father had made for them.
She spread her skirt out very carefully and she squatted down to relieve herself. Carter said.
Carter added jokingly, We took some pictures of it.

"...The United States should be the 'pre-eminent champion of freedom' and 'the most generous of all industrialized nations,' Carter said. 'Those are the indications of a real super-power.'" The PROBLEM with this idealism is that to the people in the rest of the world, what they want from the U.S. is free stuff. As in, their concept of "a real super-power" is not at all realistic to what a real super-power actually is. Neither is Carter's.
Eliminating sickness, poverty and suffering is a great and noble ideal, idealism, but to suggest that A NATION must do these things, nationally eradicate these human conditions, isn't at all suggestive of "a real super-power" in any keeping with democracy, but instead, describes the communist ideal.
Carter is best when he keeps promotes his Christianity in action as solution and stops it with the pro-communism, or, "communism is the real super-power model" type of promotions. He always fails to realize that THOSE TYPES of "super-powers" tend to if not outrightly eradicate and deprive Christians and Christianity.

I knew he was strange, but...
I hope Carter and Cindy stay around a long time. Gore and Al Franken too. Most people are sick of them, but we need those spokes-morons to remind everyone of what the Demon_rats stand for.

"She spread her skirt out very carefully and she squatted down to relieve herself. Carter said. Carter added jokingly, We took some pictures of it."
Carter once again reveals the true lack of character and decency of so many "humanitarian liberals" -- to him this young girl is just an animal provided for his amusement and/or political advancement. Just try to imagine the howls of outrage if a prominent Republican talked this way about (and photographed) a human being in similar circumstances..... what happened to ordinary privacy, modesty, and respect for persons? Carter is a pig.

Why doesn't he build her a toilet? I am sure that a two holer made out of pine, with a crescent cut in the door for light and ventilation, is not beyond the skills of this Habitat For Humanity nail pounder.
