Today with the swearing in of Chief Justice, I am especially impressed with this thread and the commentary of all of you and the new technology that makes it possible. I have been following politics for a long time, since FDR's second term. What a difference between then and now. Then we had only photographs in the newspaper and newsreels if we went to the cinema. Now we have all these color pictures of the many participants. This is bound to have a profound effect on our politics and it is still relatively new. Those of you who came of age after television may not appreciate the importance of this, but I think it is going to change things a lot.
