I broke down and ordered it - caught Mrs. Hat-Trick in a "weak" moment - those are few and far between. Trying to find out who my "home market" team is - apparently broadcasts of home market teams are limited. Hoping that it won't be the Avs - over 500 miles away. And - I agree - if they don't dig themselves too big a hole with Hejduk being out of the lineup and no Footer and no Foppa - they might have a chance to get home ice for a round or two.
They are running a free preview Oct 5-12th, so I am going to check it out and then decide. I might have to pony up for the tivo-type set top box they also have--east coast start times usually mean I am seeing the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period by the time I battle traffic to get home.
Thanks Betis! I googled and found I'm only going to miss 7 games to OLN. Everything is still on Fox Sports and a local UPN station plus I will get the 2 NBC games. I would twist my hubby's arm to buy the OLN package (he already checked with cable because there is something on there he's interested in and trust me, it ain't hockey) but I can't stand the games w/alien announcers and sans Mike Lange, and usually end up watching TV on mute so I can listen to the radio, so I'll buy all my tickets to see the games from those games. Woohoo! There will be hockey in this house after all. Thanks again!

Guess where going to see how long they call it the way they say they going to. I am all for the obstruction calls. But they might have took it a step to far in not letting defensemen move players from in front of the net. Maybe Dino Ciccarelli should come back out of retirement.;)

I am in Kentucky, about a hours drive to Nashville. But Directv gives me FOX Sports Ohio. They have one horse show recap show there once a week or something. Meanwhile FOX Sports South has Predator games and SEC game. I hope you don't get the shaft.
Thanks, me too. One of the primary reasons I wanted Center Ice was for Avs games. Fox Sports RM has dropped Avs coverage because the Avs owner, Stan Kroenke, as formed his own Sports Network - Altitude Sports - and it isn't going to be picked up by our local cable providers. Keeping the fingers crossed.
#66, the greatest player ever111!! I hope he and Crosby hook up big this year. The Pens have a chance to go far if they can capitalize on the power plays (not like last night--ugh!), and stay out of the penalty box. The rule changes should really help out a team like Pittsburgh.

I don't think he paid the price for what he did. If I was in charge I wouldn't let him play this year either since last year he wasn't really punished last year. I like tough guys as much as the next guy, but back jumpers don't belong in the NHL.
