I guess we now know why Evelyn's mother "freaked out" when she found out the authorities had the family hard drive, which she had given to a friend in order to hide it from them.

Too bad she didn't freak out at the right time, for the right reason, and soon enough to save Evelyn. Man, has this state gotten scummy...

I hope there are also charges against the "mother" of this child. She brought this freak into the house and family unit, and then tried to cover up for him when the child was killed.

She deserves serious jail time for her role in all of this.
