The DC snipers aren't considered terrorists even though the Malvo kids drawings make it clear he intended to punish the infidels. The LAX shooter isn't considered a terrorist even though he was an Egyptian (I think) who opened fire on an Israeli ticket counter. The Egyptian pilot who dove his planeload of passengers into the Atlantic while he praised Allah wasn't considered a terrorist. It's not a matter of keeping it quiet, it's a matter of discounting it if true.

So everyone who kills someone gay or kills someone who works at an abortion clinic is a rightwing christian fanatic and is part of Pat Robertson's conspiracy?

No it is perfectly natural. OU is a left wing liberal school especially made for left wing liberal students from Colorado Springs. On top of that, they have a decent engineering school. Not outstanding, but decent.

he apparently suffered from mental illness of some sort--and somehow, you tie him in with Muslims?

Well, Islam is the king of all mental illnesses.

All the instances you cited...what response was given by our elected officials?

The only legal way to get something done is by the ballot.

Nominate candidates that are Pro-America and Pro-Defense who will adopt a plank that outlaws this brand of Islam.

Who will declare it a cult of death for what it is. If Iran goes nuclear, kiss your grandchildrens' a$$e$ good-bye.

Shame on the MSM for burying these facts.

Political correctness here in the USA is tantamount to Rome's barbarians at their gates.

A kid who blows himself up knowing full well that the first suspicion will be terrorism, is a terrorist in my book.

How long until we find out his converted Muslim name?

You think they could keep that quiet?

You remember that beast who gunned down 14 schoolgirls in Quebec years ago? His real Muslim name was kept concealed for years. His father was Muslim , from Algeria I think

If someone is going to commit suicide, they arn't going to blow themself up...unless it's in the name of Allah or something...

Excellent point!

Even if this guy wasn't a muslim why in the he!! hasn't this story gotten more attention?

Perhaps they had concerns that that was the case and wanted to keep things tamped down. Can't panic the sheeple, ya know. I wonder what his "issues" were.

Thinking 'outside the box', maybe it wasn't HIS backpack/bomb. Maybe he saw one of the backpacks, picked up, and BOOM. Wrong place at the wrong time and curious.

Ref: Two Middle Eastern looking dudes seen running away from the scene.

/Whoa, had to adjust my tinfoil hat after that thought.

For all we know he could have fully intended to detonate in the crowd as they exited the stadium but got fidgety and POOF

For all we know he may have wanted to cause an explosion near the KU buses as a prank. From what I read he exploded near where the KU buses were parked. It could be that he was one of those weird kids I knew in school that thought it would be great fun to blow up the other teams buses as a prank. Alcohol and dynamite dont mix.

... left wing liberal students from Colorado Springs.

Hate to differ with you, but some of the most conservative kids in the country come from Colorado Springs. Now if you were speaking of Boulder I would probably agree ...

Very interesting take on things. That should be sorted out when they look back to see where he supposedly assembled he bomb. If they can't attach him to a bombmaking workshop then you might have something.

I agree with you and I have been on the other thread too. It seems like some aren't interested in any fact which discounts terrorism. It's like they WANT it to be terrorism. I hope it is not, but I am not really comforted by the image of a lone loony blowing things up, either. In fact lone loonies might even be scarier on occasion.

It's possible, maybe he was a victom, but at least we know it wasn't an Islmofascist suicide bombing like we had expected http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1495393/posts

Ah, some of those people want EVERYTHING to be terrorism. They could find a link to my neighbor's cat tearing up my flowerbed.

For all we know he may have wanted to cause an explosion near the KU buses as a prank.

That may be the most brilliant explanation of this situation I have seen.
