I live in the Bay Area and can get a “scratchy” KSFO signal. Since the frequency is so low, 560 KHz, the FCC will only allow them 10KW of signal, where as KMJ out of Fresno on 580 KHz is a full 50KW blow torch.
Barbara Simpson and some guy were on this morning on The Lee Rodgers & Melanie Morgan Show were so boring I fell asleep trying to listen. Even Officer Vic was not on this morning.
One other fact that I haven’t seen mentioned it that Melanie was the person that started the Recall Gray Davis campaign. When she sets her mind on an action, she can exert a lot of pressure.

I wrote the same thing in reply to someone on another thread who suggested they replace Mel with Barbara Simson. Barbara might be fine for a weekend show when there isn't much going on, and there isn't much else in political talk to listen to... but to get your day going in the Morning she was awful (in my opinion).
Maybe she was just nervous, but I got SO BORED listening to her and the other guy - neither of them was interesting and together they had absolutely NO chemistry.
Vic is on a ten day vacation. Extremely bad timing.
I don't care what some others are insisting, I think Melanie is GREAT. She is smart and enthusiastic, and I won't tune in from GA every day any more.
