Word has it that both Sandra Day O'Connor and Laura Bush wanted a woman. But why choose this one? Certainly the Federalist Society could have recommended at least a dozen. Why does this president feel he has to appease a completely impotent Dem. minority?
That's what Republicans do. They all got elected by mistake, so they have to make sure nobody figures out that they are conservative.
If he would have just shot the bullett, pulled a true conservative up, then the base once again would be charged and we could have weathered the ongoing storms. Like it is, it's like we must hide once again under the sheets until the boogie man goes away. Sucks.
