James I. Swenson, chief financial backer of University of Minnesota Duluth's new science building, says he is turning the other cheek. Swenson said he and UMD Chancellor Kathryn A. Martin have talked about offering the vandals, who caused $8 million in damages to the new science building November, scholarships to the university. Swenson said the idea is to give the young men a tour of the science building, let them talk with some students and then offer them some incentive to get their lives in order. "They might be able to study in (the James I. Swenson Science Building) one day," Swenson said. The university said there are no concrete plans yet. "Nobody has discussed this in any formal way," said UMD spokesperson Susan Beasy Latto. "(Swenson) is such a good-hearted man. I'm sure he'd like to see something happy happen."

Sum it up in one word: stupid liberal retard.
Wow. Maybe I should forget those AP classes and SAT tests and vandalize the buildings in whatever part of that college I want to go to... ;) Actually, on second thought, would I really want to go there?
I prefer the everyone blind and toothless alternative myself. Whatever happened to justice?
That's a good one. Why don't you just hang a sign on the building saying "Please Vandalize Building - Free Tuition". Can I go do some spray painting and get my future kids college prepaid ? Oh, wait, I wouldn't want them going to such a looney libral university if they paid me to send them.
or as they're called in MN - "DFL" =dumb friggin liberals
If Swensen and Martin had paid for the facilities themselves, etc. then their idea about scholarships would be admirable. They didn't. It isn't.
BS. it still leaves you with one good eye.
ok, but that's 3 words.

And now this --- how stupid. I'm going to tell him that he and his friends (some who plan on going there) should go up and trash the place and go to school for free..
SARCASM OFF NOW !!
So glad my tax dollars are going to fund these idiots.
