Just heard Gibson break this. Wonder if it was the same GJ?

Wonder if there is actually some evidence to support the charge this time....

This is odd. Ussually the charges are combined in one indictment. Why two? Why not do them both at same time?

Previous grand jury brought the former charge on it's last day. Is this a new GJ? Odd.

Talk about piling on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The liberal talking points are the "culture of chronism" and the "climate of crime" refering to Republicans, not just the conservatives. BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Those Texas Democrats really like ham sandwiches. Maybe the shaggy D.A. will be charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer.

I hope he smashes them to pieces if he's innocent. I hope it's so evidence that it was a political charge, that someone starts digging up Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxers dirty laundry and hangs them all with it once and for all. Sick of Lib SWINE

Looks like Earl realized that the first indictment would never make it past a judge so he decided to up the ante.

I wonder if somebody mixed up the April indictment of the other two guys (that indictment mentions money laundering on exactly the same facts as the conspiracy charge v. Delay of last week), with the Delay indictment.

Any news reports other than tee vee FoxNews?

Brian Wilson just reported that it was a different Grand Jury....but he hasn't had a chance to see the indictment yet...

I wonder if Earle told Delay that there was a second grand jury???? What a skank!!!

The gop needs to hit hard against the dems that are in trouble.

The dems are the party of hypocracy.

A dem rep Jefferson in New Orleans is under investigation by the FBI. How about Jim McGreevy last year, talk about cronyism.

How about Corzine giving all that money to his girlfriend who worked for the unions.

Dems have some nerve to talk about cronyism when Bill had Hillary take over his top legislative agenda.

LOL! Well, never underestimate the anger and hostility of the nasty, political whore Earle.

Money laundering. It would be laughable, but for our partisan and dishonest MSM.

Why should he care about that? He will have already gotten what he wants out of it and no one will hold him accountabel in any case. At least that is the history to this point!

Good grief.

Earle is to "indictments" what Klayman is to "FOIA".

Both are used only to gain $$$ support, not effect.

What a waste. The democratic party needs to start cutting and snorting Immodium AD, they got diarrhea for brains. Sheese.

He might still be able to be re-elected as DA in liberal Travis County, but it seems to me that he's gambling any aspirations to higher office, as well as his place in history, by bringing these indictments.

Furthermore, if they go down in flames, which I suspect, there could be a backlash against these orchestrated sleazy Rat tactics.

Should be decided in ~ 90 days. Under Texas law, he can ask for a "speedy trial" which must then be held within 90 days.

We pause this thread for an Activist message. Avoid your next Brownie moment! The House has passed HR 3132 The Child Saftey Act, which unfortunately had a late amendment by Rep. Conyers (D) that is a Hate Crimes bill. Call your Senator on the phone.

HR 3132 is not yet scheduled for discussion in the Senate, but don't let them sneak it past us because we're not vigilant.

Here are related threads on FR.
