Unless the intent was to do an end run around the Texas law, I don't see a problem with money being sent to the republican party and the republican party sending money back to Texas (the corporate donations are used at the Republican headquarters and that frees up money to be sent back to Texas). That should be perfectly legal and it is not money laundering, and I think the democrats do it all the time from what I have heard.
