3-4 month wait for the Prius here in NY. and people are already lining up to pre-order the new Honda Civic hybrid.
Given the price of a replacement battery, those things may save gas but I'm not sure they save money.
No Honda Civic's on the dealer lots here. Dealer stated his entire next shipment is sold at MSRP. He is now selling on shipments expected in a month or so.
The Honda Fit offers almost much passenger space as the Honda Civic, yet gets better fuel mileage and takes because of its small external physical size is very easy to park and drive in crowded urban roads. This is why the Fit (known as the Jazz in most of the world) is such a hot seller everywhere this car is sold--and it will be the same in the USA.
