Anyone else remember when GWB got elected in 2001, and the leftists in the media were all pooh-poohing him in this condescending way, saying that he was a lightweight, and "he could probably handle the Presidency, especially in this 'peaceful, prosperous climate' that Clinton had left him"? It seems to me that GWB just can't get a break, and if they weren't such hypocrites they should be awed at how well he's handled it. I mean, what's next -- an asteroid?
