Black Liberals Support Farrakhan Event

Many black activists could be expected to back away from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan after his outrageous allegation that the government blew up the New Orleans levees to flood black neighborhoods during Hurricane Katrina.

But an impressive array of black organizations and individuals have lined up to support Farrakhan’s Millions More Movement and its October 15 gathering in Washington – including the Congressional Black Caucus and the mayor of Washington, D.C.

The Movement – formed to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Million Man March on Washington – plans to focus on "justice” for hurricane victims, slavery reparations and the war in Iraq at the gathering, according to Cybercast News Service.

The Millions More Movement says it is supported by: The Progressive National Baptist Convention, The Urban League, Rev. Al Sharpton, The New Black Panther Party, Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Russell Simmons, Rev. Jesse Jackson, the National Council of Negro Women, Kanye West, The Congressional Black Caucus and D.C. Mayor Anthony Williams.

You've got to hand it to Farrakhan, he knows how to bring the anti-Americans out in force.

I thought the Urban League was a cut above the others. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Anyone who follows or cooperates with Farrakan in any way whatsoever is a depraved moron. Anyone who thinks blacks are somehow being held back by 'white' society just needs to look at this atrocious quality of 'leadership' -- I object to the idea of having 'leaders' of racial groups on principle, but if many blacks think they are not taken seriously by 'white' society then they need to think about why 'black' leadership is in such an atrocious state ass to arouse contempt and/or indifference from whites. There are loads of distinguished blacks who are real leaders of intelligence and insight (from Condi Rice to Thomas Sowell to Ward Connerly to so many others) but they're not the ones that are treated with respect by all the racial (i.e., racist) demagogues of the left.

First of all, one wonders what planet Farrakhan is from, and if the Mother Ship will finally come pick him back up! I am just SHOCKED to see Jessie Jackson is going to join him, shocked I tell you! And Sharpton? Who'd have ever thought it? LOL!

Americans should better appreciate our productive and self-sufficient Oriental minorities, especially the dignified Japanese.

STICK IT TO SOROS!

FarraClown has said things much worse than Bill Bennett would ever dream of saying. Deafening silence from the MSM and the Liberal Black leadership. Today's Liberal Black Leadership has ZERO credibility to call anyone a racist. Sick of the double standard.

Please if these guys get 500,000 they would be lucky and from what I have seen here in DC they are running into trouble recuriting right here. This is the last roar of a bunch of toothless old lions and I would not put much faith in this bunch at all. Farrakhan has had to pull out every lie has to get people to show up and that speaks for itself.

If you show up (get a mic!) on CSPAN for the event, it will have all been worthwhile!

Hey, it gives us all a good laugh at the sheer ignorance of him and his followers. Let them have their little get togethers. It's not like they are saying anything intelligent and we might miss it.

If the Urban League is a part of this, the President should discontinue speaking to the group then. SCREW 'EM! I knew these sacks of feces would stab Bush in the back.

Republicans need to stop pandering to these left-wing black organizations!!

Black Americans continue their rapid downward spiral in loss of political power. Shame they can't see the forest for the trees.
