It's interesting reading and posting thoughts on this great site. For a lot of posters it's always the "next" pick, or wait untill the "next" election" or lets wait and see.
However, Bush made a promise to we conservatives that he would pick judges in the mold of Scalia and Thomas. If you think he fulfilled his promise by picking Miers, nothing those of us who differ cannot say anything to change your mind.
In addition, to say that a REPUBLICAN controlled Senate, House and Presidency could not get a time tested conservative judge through the nomination process is hogwash.
