I am very sad that you feel that way.
I always have a problem with being lied to. We all know that this President made the SCOTUS a very big issue in both elections. We were promised a conservative lion when Bush got the chance. So far we have two stealth candidates. Call me underwhelmed.
Don't be sad for me. It's the Party you should feel sad about. The Contract with America is long dead, illegal immigration continues unabated to this day even though we have a huge hole in security for this country. We spend like drunken sailors as well, so we have no one to blame but ourselves. I have come to the conclusion that 60 senators wouldn't make any difference to the Republicans in the senate. The country club atmosphere continues.
