Newdow needs to fall asleep on a set of train tracks.

"Newdow believes that it is time to get rid of the old Pledge of Allegiance altogether. He said that it's impractical to just change the pledge because children will continue to say "under God" out of habit or under protest."

I thought there was a small chance this guy was sincere about separation of church and state. This comment reveals that he is against free expression of religion. Hopefully this will end his 15 minutes.

Here's one he'd probably like:

I pledge allegiance to myself.

And to the nothingness for which I stand.

One man.

Without God.

With slavish submission to political correctness and America-hating apologies to all.

Maybe he could run out of gas at 2AM in Watts or Harlem.

I think spontaneous combustion would be fun to watch.

I just saw this on the 5 pm news on KCRA. For fear of being banned, arrested, etc. I'll refrain from voicing my opinion.

Nonetheless,...

I Pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic, for which it stands, One Nation Under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.

This man needs to have lots of prayers cause he has lost it. How one man can make the pledge become unconstitutional in one state is beyond me.

I just wonder - if people who happily recite "under God" and "in God we trust" were to earnestly pray to the Sovereign enmasse that Newdoubt be removed from the political scene - I just wonder how long Newdoubt's fuse would last?

I'd hate to know I was such an offense to so many people.
