But, but, but...does Santa really wear a red suit? I'm confused. Louis Freeh totally discouraged me, but I'll read his book in hopes he will clear up why he failed to go after Clinton big time.

Strengths of Janet Reno: page 224 thru 224

Page 224 says - THIS PAGE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

So let me see. Clinton wouldn't meet with the head of the CIA (Woolsey). He didn't get along with the head of the FBI. He loathed the military. He was considered a security risk by the hapless Janet Reno. About the only part of the Executive branch that the Chief Executive got along with was the General Services Administration. What a lowlife punk.

I wouldn't go THAT far...all Freeh is doing is hawking a book and he knows that, like sex, clinton sells.

As far as I'm concerned, Freeh was a gutless toadie who was afraid of doing his job and coming out now in a 'tell all' book, proves it. He should have had the guts to do something about clinton when he had 'power' to do it.

Freeh promoted the man who gave the shoot to kill order at Ruby Ridge.

Doubtful he had a single concern that those FBI files found their way to the White House.

Something stinks here and Freeh is part of it.

If bill fried Freeh there is nothing Freeh could have done about it.

"Director Freeh and FBI mole Hansen BOTH thought Clinton may have betrayed US secrets to the Chinese for campaign cash."

I thought this was a done deal as far as it being fairly conclusive. It's just that nobody wants to pursue it; not then and not now.

And Congress still doesn't give a heck about substandard human rights in Red China or withholding the Most Favored Nation status as at least one small payback or incentive.

Same old, same old lip service from lawmakers...and it's pitiful.

Maybe now we'll all get to read the DiBello memorandum.

I love the fact that the FBI director waived his right to enter the WhiteHouse without signing in.

I can just imagine Clinton claiming that he met and discussed this and that with Mr. Freeh...leaving it his word against whoever.

Yeah, that's what I thought about that too.

Plausible deniability.

The very interesting thing about Clinton closets with skeletons is that the MSM has absolutely no interest in checking them out. OTOH, they are desperate to dig something up on Bush, who, regardless of the pros and cons of his policies, strives to be a straight shooter.

Thanks for the ping. I guarantee they'll focus more on the non-story of Karl Rove than this story.

Bill Clinton has been seeking every opportunity to bash W in recent days. 'Anyone want to bet it's because he got a heads-up on this book's release?

I suspect liver disease. People who have seen him up close say he has a yellowish tinge to his skin.

Perot and the power of the media got us to the point of electing the grifter.

And a lot of gullible folks will never admit their error.

Sure, but firing Freeh would have looked horrible for Clinton's scandal-plagued administration, and would have risked arousing some in Congress and the media to pay attention. Freeh is saying he didn't want to give Clinton any easy way to appoint a new FBI Director, though who knows whether Freeh really wanted to resign or whether he was enjoying his time as the FBI's #1.... given the Clinton administration and Reno, etc. I doubt Freeh could have been enjoying himself too much!
