This reminds me of a sermon by my pastor from a few weeks ago. In essence he said that modern man may feel free to change their view of God, but that doesn't change God. They will learn the truth that they have tried to deny one day, but it will be too late.

Very well spoken by your pastor. Our society is in the process of trying to create their own 'god', in their own image, the god of earth and self human love, not the G-d of Abraham, Issac and Jacob! This cafeteria god will be cast out by the G-d of the universe.

Either it is Gods word or it is not. If it is, then we have no authority to change it, if it is not, we are free to do as we wish.
I choose the former. I'll stick with the KJV.
