Not exactly the point I was trying to make. It was more like, I'd rather have syphillis than be dead.
Oh, well, I must admit I hadn't thought about how wonderful having the syphillis could be. Keeping in mind, it kills you in the end and it's not too cool while it's waiting.
Just an aside, being a southsider myself, I have a hard time imagining how hard it must be to be a Republican in Illinois much less Chicago.
