I believe I should not have to guess, hope, or otherwise struggle to articulate the qualifications of a nominee to such an important, and life-time, position. There were far better choices.

Life might be a flip of the coin, but a Supreme Court nomination should not be, and certain need not be given the slate of candidates publicly discussed.

'Flip of the coin' is about as bad a defense of a Supreme Court nominee as 'mediocrity deserves representation'. I do not bet the farm on a 50-50 bet. Give Harriet a turn at traffic court to see how she works out first.

We are not the result oriented party remember? We are the ones who want strict constructionalists. Not somebody who is just gonna vote the right way in Roe vs Wade. Come on. When did our standards get so low? WHATEVER HAPPENED TO APPLYING A ORIGINALIST METHEODOLOGY TO THE COURT CULTURE. That takes more than just a few correct votes. One word changed and it can have ramafications on thousands of cases...
