Why can't the VCDL just accept the NRA endorsement and go with it? Do they have any idea how many of these "surveys" the candidates are asked to fill out?
NRA surveys are not made public so they are pretty useless to anyone but NRA staff.
NRA ratings are pretty whimsical -last years A can becomes this years C and vice versa without any major change in position. Ask the Republican Atty General candidate why he is not being endorsed and the Dem is. VCDL's PAC declined to endorse either candidate.
