That's always the part that gets me. After the fake memo story broke and after Rather recanted, CBS did it's own internal investigation and found that Rather and Mapes dismissed advise from their own document experts that said that there was a "high likelyhood that the memos were forgeries".

Now her defenders are saying she is either guilty of sloppy investigating or that the bloggers and the RWC were out to get her.

She has no one to blame but herself. period.
