Here's what bothers me about Graham in this...during the Roberts hearing he gave a long winded statement that ended with a call for the President to send up another conservative. At the time I thought it was cover since he was part of the gang which became the owners of the filibuster power. He knew then what he knows now, the President couldn't send up anyone that couldn't get through that gang or cause it to break ranks.
His defense of Miers isn't a black mark on her though. He's just trying to cover for the damage his gang has caused.
