I will educated you on the concept of Opportunity Cost on another thread so your evasion will not be deflected. Let's hear your wild overgeneralization on the topic you initially raised.

"I will educated you"

Work on past and present tense while you're at it, OK?

Norman PD blew up the stash. The explosion was loud enough to be heard miles away. Awfully big firecracker!

I've addressed this post to quite a few people on this thread, I hope you all don't mind. (I'm not keeping a list, just saw a lot of comments I wanted to respond to and figured this was the easiest way...)

Here's my dissection of this article...

1.) "But the dots cannot be connected, at least at this point, said Stephen Sloan, a former University of Oklahoma professor who is alarmed that far-right extremist groups have taken to the Internet with conspiracy theories attempting to link the actions of Hinrichs to the Muslim community of Norman and to the Middle East." & " "No doubt there are a lot of questions to be answered," Sloan said. "But it is unfortunately logical to think that he was trying to get into the stadium." "

Comment: "far-right extremist"? Hardly a "far-right" person am I. "Conspiracy theories"? Theories to be sure, but not in the vein of the association those words represent to modern society, Mr. Sloan. An objective review of the facts, as well as the circumstantial evidence in this case does not lead any rational, thinking person to the "lone suicide" version of events. I'm curious to know if Mr. Sloan has any political ties or preferences himself. In my experience people who use the "far-right extremist" speech usually end up being "far-left" supporters. Myself, I'm an independant with Conservative libertarian leanings...

2.) "I would have been there within whatever the speed limit would allow me to be if I had any inclination that he was this unhappy," the father said from his family's home in Colorado Springs the day after the explosion."

I saw an interview with Hinrichs father on MSNBC the other night. He is extremely intelligent, and very well-spoken. He appears to still be in a state of shock at this point, but he was rather emotional in the days immediately following the event. I truly feel for him. Some of his statements I have found interesting thus far, and this one proves curious too. I think I'll write something up about his comments in the near future.

3.) "Haven't we learned from the bombing of the Murrah Building (in 1995) in Oklahoma City, when the first reports tried to tie the bombing to a foreigner from the Middle East?" Sloan said. "But that proved to be false."

I watched all the news reports that day as I was home with my small children at the time. The ORIGINAL report indicated numerous witnesses speaking about seeing two middle-eastern men in the company of McVeigh just before the bomb went off. Other witnesses report him in the company of 2 Middle Eastern men in the days preceding the event. None of these witnesses have been discredited, they've simply been ignored. This hardly proves it false.

4.) "Tariq Alzoubi, a Muslim who has been part of the Islamic community in Norman for several years, said when he found out that the individual who died was white and not Middle Eastern, "I was not happy, but I was relieved. Then the issue came up that his roommate might be Pakistani." & "Originally from Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Alzoubi said Muslims have been on edge when something like this happens ever since Sept. 11, 2001"

"Might be Pakistani"???? This is the same person who the other day said that he _knew_ Cheema was an "atheist". How do we know this person even knows Cheema? This statement says he doesn't know him very well at all. Why are the papers speaking to this person. Why should his views be credited, and other students and witnesses be dismissed as "excitable"? Who exactly is Tariq and why has he been singled out to speak for the community?

I agree that we should be wary of what Tariq termed "collective punishment" but it's time for some hard questions to be asked and answered in this case. It's also time for the FBI and other officials within the investigation to come clean, IMHO. The residents of Oklahoma, and the citizens of our country deserve to know the truth... hopefully, the FBI and the JTTF is not as committed to ignoring the evidence in this case as Boren and the reporters seem to be.

Landau! That's right. I just got back on the forum a few minutes ago and wrote "Brougham" on the other thread, lol. Oh well, that's the *kind* of cars that had Landau roofs! Close, but no cigar. Thanks!

"But it is unfortunately logical to think that he was trying to get into the stadium."

He's basically admitting that someone willing to use logical deduction can see through all the spin and propaganda. Of course, he considers that unfortunate, being one of the propagandists. To a leftist, logic is as bad as truth.

Most likely pointed right at the cash registers in the ticket booths so as to catch would-be thiefs, and not document the comings and goings of the gates themselves. I'm not familiar at all with the stadium, just my guess. (o:

Unfortunately that description is not the same as the initial description which claimed a "puff of smoke" or something like that. Is there any hard information available about this since it is extremely important? I cannot believe the cops would have let the roommate go it this is true.

Wanna bet? Some of us have used that unfortunate logical deduction to figure out that one too. And we're way ahead of the curve this time. You spinners won't be able to catch up.

"Still waiting for you to tell us all what my "take" is even after yet another evasion."

Your "take" as you put it, is your own word, not mine. I observed that you are exactly where I'd expect you to be; you're being disruptive and nasty on the basis of my observation that Hinrich's father's apology to Muslims was overwrought.

In my past dealings with you, that's par for the course.

Just a little pet peeve of mine, and then I'll be on my merry way. When you post something like this:

"I will educated you"

Work on past and present tense while you're at it, OK?

Most of the adults in the room see this:

I AM INSECURE! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A LOGICAL POINT TO MAKE HERE, SO PLEEEAAASE LOOK AT THIS BOZO'S SPELLING/TYPING ERROR!

Here endeth the lesson.

I was objecting to your premature attempt to hang the father not about anything said about muslims. You can't even keep your mistakes straight.

And it was you who compared me to Murray Mom which was completely unwarranted. If there is any "disruption" that is it.

I have asked a couple of rather routine questions and objected to the insult to the dead guy's dad. Nothing more. Keep it straight.

Who is being interviewed here? Boren or Mary Mapes?

Somewhere in Retired Anchor Land, Dan Blather is crying, "That damn buckhead.com is trying to say Hinrichs was a Muslim! F*ck 'em all!"
