I'm Presbyterian - we're the cool ones who just stand on the sidelines and sip our beer - and watch other Protestants fight........;^)
Now back to the story - let us know if you hear anything further about this bomb.

the device appeared to be some water bottle with fireworks attached to them. The horror. I was past that stage by age 6. In seventh grade, launched the vice principle's car keys two hundred yards over the school pond with a three stage rocket...

1 recipe of cornbread
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cans (16 oz each) pinto beans (OPTIONAL)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
10 slices bacon, fried very crispy, and crumbled
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 cup each of chopped red bell pepper, green bell pepper, green onions and several chopped tomatoes
Make up the cornbread, cool. Stir together salad dressing mix, sour cream and mayonnaise until blended; set aside. Combine tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. Toss gently. Crumble 1/2 of the cornbread into a large bowl. Top with half each of beans, tomato mixture, cheese, bacon, corn and dressing mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and chill for at least 3 hours. When ready to serve, stir the whole mess together!
This is also great without ranch dressing package mix. Plus, you may add any veggies you want.

Well, it certainly wasn't their football team's offense.

WATER CANNOT BE COMPRESSED!!!!It can be put under pressure. I have picked up that the devices were chemical bombs in 2 liter soda bottles.
They make a lot of noise and are hell on mailboxes.

James Lileks generated a book on that sort of thing.

Well, here's a group of crazed bloodthirsty Methodists from the State of New Jersey. I can see where these people should be feared--and profiled.

A few years ago, my m-in-law went through a kind of "housewife midlife crisis" and deviated from her "regular 7" menu. It was horrible. She's VERY GOOD at making those 7 dishes, but nothing else.

"AFTER the Knights of Columbus came in and spiked the punch." WHILE the Freemasons delivered two washtubs of cracklin's and labled them 'Fried Chicken'. (We were watching the KofC, but not to worry. We are sworn to silence. Besides, the punch tasted pretty good! A few more cocktail onions and a bucket of those big olives would have been nice.)

Carrot-Raisin Salad is small stuff - lucky they didn't bring the Heavy Artillery!!
Over here, when we Lutherans crash a party, we bring a big portion of Pickled Ox Tongue Smothered in Capers!

Well, it certainly wasn't their football team's offense. That does worry the UGA BullDawg world, but not much.
Who will UGA play for the National Championship?
Go Dawgs!

Power to the Methodist Front! We Presbyterians are waiting to see which side sets up the biggest coffee bar in the vestibule.
Then we throw our support to the other side.
