Ah, well. Unless Fitzgerald actually indicts Rove or Libby, the MSM only has a short time left to insinuate to their readers that Rove must be guilty because he is so, well . . . sinister.

I'm not sure Murray Waas qualifies as MSM. He has a website
http://whateveralready.blogspot.com/
and is called an "investigative journalist" in a Slate article I found.

It's just soooo strange Waas is the only one reporting this stuff. Of course not so strange Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman would lap it up.

Doesn't anybody notice - this purported conversation was held weeks before Joe Wilson's article was even published!

I have followed this story since its inception. The reporting and analysis on Free Republic has been better and more thorough than anything I have seen on any of the news shows. However, every evening at 6:00pm, just after Brit goes off, I have a choice of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and Chris Matthews. Most of the time I opt for Matthews. He is making a career out of this case.

Armed with information from FR I sit and listen to him and several journalist, but always Andrea Mitchell, dissect their opinions (not news) from infomation delivered up that day. They have Rove and Libby in the federal penetetary. This bothers me as it runs contrary to the analysis of cyncoper and stellar dendrite and many others who have carefully considered these matters, not to mention myself.

I guess I am writing to say I sure hope like heck Rove and Libby are not indicted, and that Wilson, Plame, Russert, or any journalist is flushed instead. That is probably an ugly thought, but we do not need an indictment in the upper eschelons of this administration.
