I think her propaganda is better. She'll fry him on medicare. Scare the old people. She'll have the media running free advertising 24 hours a day, reminding voters that Gingrich wanted to "cut" medicare.

Of course, if Clinton had not vetoed Newt's medicare reform bill, then medicare would not now be bankrupt.

Oh wait. Maybe I'm thinking of Jack Kemp. I get the two confused. Must be the hair.

I agree Newt is brilliant- persuasive and an excellent debater.

However..the way he treated his wife, ethics issues...etc would keep him from ever getting elected.

I,m not sure Newt capable of getting enough Christian Conservative vote,s to win.
The best possible candidate at this point is Condi Rice.
I hate to say it but I don,t think Newt can beat Hillary without a strong VP candidate.
A Newt Condi ticket or a Condi Newt ticket would probably win in my estimation.

You're right. We need the media on our side, just like they were in the last election. The only way we're going to beat Hillary is to run someone even more liberal. Draft Kucinich 2008!

The problem I have with Newt is he is as polarizing as Hitlery and I don't believe he would be electable. Amen.

Not yet! I heard him on Hannity a while ago and couldn't believe he (Newt) called himself a republican.

Newt is the Man! He and Rush are my two favorite people in the world. The man is a genius but does carry lots of skeletons in his past. When he talks, liberals look like the idiots that they are.

He may be smart, but there is one thing that I just can't get out of my mind about him. That is his filing for divorce when his wife was in the hospital suffering from cancer. He will not get my vote.

A saw Newt speak years ago when I was an intern on Capitol Hill for a Dem Congressman. He recommended 3 books: Modern Times by Paul Johnson, Destructive Generation by Horowitz and Collier, and Closing of the American Mind by Allan Bloom. Needless to say, I found the speech provocative enough to quickly find all three books and read them. His speech, and the books he recommended, were like a gust of fresh air that dispelled the liberal miasma I was breathing.
