We need someone like Gingrich to run an anti-RINO "Contract with America" type operation during the '06 and/or '08 primaries.

Unfortunately the Contract with America, while good at getting voter support, did not deliver its promises---i.e., a deafult.

Why not run Voinovich, DeWine or (gulp) Taft?

You have been misled by the MSM. The CFA was a complete success. The promise was that all the listed issues would be brought to the house floor for a vote...

9 out of 10 Contract with America issues were voted into law. Unfortunately, a leftist judge said the line item veto was unconstitutional.

I say, give it another try and take it to the new supreme court!

I'm getting old and I forget the details, but it seems to me that all but one of the 10 promises were kept. I know for a fact most of them were. Can you point out where they did not deliver?
