When the "leak" came out earlier in the week of what the commission was proposing, I was as freaked as anyone.

But the commission has not released anything official yet. They are not even done meeting yet...check the site: http://www.taxreformpanel.gov/

True and yet....why are things leaked? what is the purpose of a leak?
often politicians leak information so that the populace will be calmed down enough when the true info. comes out
the general mass of sheople will end up saying "see it isn't as bad as we thought"


happens all the time--they leak a tax increase of 40% and then when the real figure is 25% no one is mad..clever this political machine of ours
