How appropriate a selection for a name for the ACLU.
In the 17th and 18th Century when in individual had VD (syphilis) from spending a night with Venus and now a rather Shortened life time with Mercury (they crudely inject or ingested mercury as a cure) he was said to be suffering from the Pox.
