TOLUCA, Mexico (AP) - Four men were killed and a fifth wounded Saturday morning by gunfire at a gathering of federal and Mexico State officials on the outskirts of Mexico City, Mexico State prosecutors said.

The shootings took place at an apartment in the town of Naucalpan, on the northwest outskirts of Mexico City.

"They were drinking alcoholic beverages when on of them pulled out from under his clothes a pistol and used it against his companions," the Mexico State attorney general*s office announced in a news release.

The shooting claimed the lives of a former agent for the federal attorney general's office, a municipal public works director, a deputy commander for the Federal Agency of Investigation, and a family court employee.

Investigators believe one of the dead men may have turned a gun on himself after shooting the others.

Omar Alberto Morales, a former state police officer, was treated for gunshot wounds to the right arm and head at a hospital in Naucalpan, where he was reported in stable condition.

Shocking in a way, but having lived in Mexico City, I can say that most Americans don't realize just how lawless Mexico is.

Just like a typical Saturday Night in any SoCal "Cantina"!
Cerveza and pistola mixes really good!
Sunday papers always have at least one or two of these events.

An acquaintance who just got back from working in Mexico said that the very first public trial just occurred there, and it was a big deal. I could hardly believe it. She also said that "justice" is a factor of what you can pay. If your home is broken into, that's too bad unless you are connected or can pay the policia.

Well, this guy must not have been a real politician. Public servants have magical powers that permit them to carry guns safely, unlike the rest of us private-citizen schmucks. Sarah Brady told me so.

Mordita dispute?

It can't be.

There are no guns allowed in Mexico so how can "Gunfire Kills Four" be true.

The ruling class is exempt ala Schumer and Feinstein.
