This is politically very infirm ground. He could be seen as trying to blaim the previous administration for 9/11
He's already mentioned that we got hit hard because America didn't do anything about previous attacks. Didn't name the previous administration, but everyone knew what he meant.
Um...how do you know it DOESN'T concern him?
He is a little bit busy...and he doesn't give a speech about everything he is "worrying about"...besides, since this happened BEFORE he was elected...I am sure he, like us, is waiting to have reports of who/what/when/where.
If anybody's running a cover-up it's the Clinton left-overs in the govt. Bush and Rummy are not cover-up kind of people - they don't think that way. It's the criminals like the Clintons who cover up everything - because they have something to hide.
Don't count on it. That's one thing about the president I've lost faith in....putting the screws to the democrats.
Bush should've and could've buried them for good, and was too busy trying to make friends.

Not analogous at all. The GOP didn't demonize Kerry? They failed to bring up Kerry's antiwar record, his accusations that his fellow Vietnam vets were criminals who committed war crimes and his participation in the VVAW, which plotted the assassination of US officials. The GOP should thank the SBVFT for telling the truth and winning the election for Bush.

Yes, you're right about the import of such information BUT it wouldn't change the necessity for the any of the actions taken. Maybe 9-11 could have been avoided. Maybe just postponed.
Politics has invaded every aspect of life in this country. Instead of waiting to slaughter anyone who's made a mistake or is trying to TELL of a mistake, they should be thanked and enlisted into solving the problem. We fight over GARBAGE and the enemy is inside the gate.
