In a significant move, elite Special Forces of US, India, Russia and United Kingdom are to hold for the first time multi-lateral land and air exercises on the Russian soil early next year.
"Russia hopes to organise and host such an exercise" Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov told newsmen after rounding off his visit to India and his meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

Why would USA and UK hold exercises with Russia? It is atleast understandable for India.

I never understood the benefit of something like this preposed excercize with a dubious ally. Russia has been getting closer and closer with China, and it seems we risk exposing valuable intel. India, I could live with however.

Once Russia would spend millions of dollars to learn how our special forces operate, now they just invite us to train them and the politically correct leftists in charge of our military pay millions for the privilege.

In it's thousand year history, Russia has had one...ONE military exercise with China. It's had five with us THIS YEAR alone and this will make six (my count may be off by one).

Those that run the US Army are not leftists and I'd kindly ask you not to insult them that way. Just because they don't buy into the paranoia doesn't make them a Hildabeast ally.

True
Incase nobody ever noticed WW3 is on, most of the countries are fighting a common enemy (driven by doctrine sic!). There is no official declaration of war. But even WW2 was fought for years in pockets before an open declaration of war was made.
We are living through interesting times

During the Clintoon era 50 top generals and admirals quit the military in protest.
Is it paranoia when your enemy builds massive first strike systems while your military is cut back and moved overseas for "police" actions?
Some people do not get a clue till the bombs start raining, I am an old cold warrior, and trust me, the cold war was a war that never ended. Even Israel has more advanced missiles than us in the field. Russia has supersonic sub launched cruise missiles, we have... bi-planes by comparason.
Those who run the US army are Globalists, who are bent on the destruction of National borders, those who are IN the military are good men being sold down river.
Or perhaps you can explain why when Saudi Arabia attacked us we attacked Afganistan and Iraq and built up the Palestinians in Israel?

I am well aware the generals and admirals resigned their commission in protest, and I strongly supported them at the time.

Firstly, you still consider Russia an enemy, while the American military no longer does, and nobody has more right-wingers than our military.
Secondly, you only read and hear the 5% printed in the left-wing MSM, and do not see the 95% going on in the GWoT. The military and ex-military men on this list have been trying to tell you for the last year Russia is no longer an enemy, but you are not listening. Russia has proved herself in ways you have not seen.
Thirdly, there are things in the American military of which you are not aware. Nobody has more overall advanced weapons than the US.
Those who run the US army are Globalists, who are bent on the destruction of National borders, those who are IN the military are good men being sold down river.
Total nonsense! Under Clinton you did have some moderates at the top of the military, but they have been replaced. The American military is extremely patriotic, and would do nothing to endanger our country. I went to and graduated from high school with Gen. Dick Myers, and you will not find anyone who loves America more. Even then his goal was to serve America and fly in the air force. BTW, one reason he was picked to be chairman was his expertise in advanced technology.
Or perhaps you can explain why when Saudi Arabia attacked us we attacked Afganistan and Iraq and built up the Palestinians in Israel?
I seriously doubt you have ever served in the military, and it shows. I also suspect your view of Russia is colored due to your being a premillenial, correct?

Wrong on both counts. Worked deep in some windowless buildings. And my religious beliefs have nothing to do with my experiences with my Russian "friends" during my tenure in the military. Russia supplying SA-10's to both Syria and Iran is a real confidence building measure. What they heck, we needed new planes anyway...
PT Barnum was a wise man, far smarter than the present crop of PC socialists we now can choose from in elections.
Time will tell which of us is correct, and I suspect not much time at that.
Blessings, your going to need them.

Then the world must look looney from your point of view, because the Cold War with Russia is over...period. As I stated you are only seeing 5% of what is going on in the GWoT. BTW, I still maintain ties with many in Special Ops.
