Once again, his "base" isn't split.

A couple of EX-speech writers have decided that they hate the President as much as Maureen Dowd.

Oh, and Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin who really haven't said anything of substance to add to the political debate in years. But they look good on TV.

The base is who goes to the polls and votes.

The people who are upset right now are the ones who blackmail the GOP with their votes all the time.

However, you don't usually win off year elections by splitting your base.

By election time, this will be old news. If we're split a year from now it'll be something else that splits us.
