Any time anyone wishes me "Happy Holidays", I answer cheerily with "Merry Christmas!" (Unless the person is wearing a Star of David, in which case my response is "Happy Hannukkah!")
My small contribution to the war effort.

Some jewish friends who are conservatives have greeted me with "Merry Christmas", to which I respond "happy Hannukkah". I think they give the greeting in part to give PC liberals fits.

Here is a delightfully ridiculous greeting I invented for for the EPC (Equisitely politically correct) crowd at work ...Have a pleasant winter solstice. Funny thing, is that an exceptionally EPC person asked my permission to use the phrase in her homemade holiday cards. She was delighted with the inclusive nature of greeting friends and family with ... Have a pleasant winter solstice.

Ditto. And I'm Jewish. Because if they get one of us, they'll get the other next.
