Heck, as a Eurotwit nationalist, I have to say that I am veeery sceptical to the BNP... Certainly a larget number of the BNP's followers are all out fascists...
That said, we are seeing many strange alliances these days. Off course we have the modern day Hitler-Stalin pact between the extreme left and the islamists... In Norway, there is a tiny party called the "Democrats" which is a motley collection (as far as I have gathered) of strong supporters of Israel and former(?) neo nazis...
What's going to happen, and is happening, is that anti-immigration conservatives are getting disgusted and walking over to BNP. In the process, they are going to be taking it over from its old leadership, shedding the neo-Nazi elements, and turning it into a more mainstream party.
THis article has it wrong. Nick Griffin is scum - he actually went to Quadaffi at one point to get money for the BNP. Anything he says must be treated with extreme suspicion. The article does address the origins of the BNP - namely, that they're traitors. They should continue to be regarded as such.
Regards, Ivan
The author has been thoroughly fooled by Griffin's clever campaign to sanitise the public image of the BNP. Please don't be taken in by this. The BNP is as vicious and nasty as it has ever been. Strip off the sharp suits, and you'll find the flesh beneath still carries swastika tattoos.
