Good thing this idiot never learned to read a compass or a map. He was one hell of a revolutionary hiker though. Funny how he always seemed to get lost on some march through the jungle whenever the actual fighting was taking place.

During the Bay of Pigs fiasco, Castro sent Guevara (whom he never trusted) with a company of men to a remote beach, miles from any of the actual fighting. Arriving at night, Guevara and his crew heard the sound of gunfire up ahead, and they immediately responded. During the exchange, Guevara was slightly wounded, and the company of "revelucionarios" was pinned down until daylight, when they could actually see the face of the enemy, a tape recorder set on autoloop, on a rocky island just offshore... (the wound suffered by Guevara was evidently by his own pistol...)
