If it is true that people in US custody have been mistreated. then the people who did it must be identified and punished.

According to what was described in the article, they have been and are being identified and tried:

Earlier this month, Pfc. Damien M. Corsetti, a military intelligence interrogator with the 519th MI Battalion at Fort Bragg, N.C., became the 15th soldier to face charges since those 2002 deaths.

I see a huge difference between putting panties on someones head and sawing someones head off. I see a huge difference between burning dead bodies to dispose of them and burning someone alive.

as you said they have been punished but there is no moral equivalence between the terrorists and our soldiers. Our soldiers have done nothing that even remotely approaches the barbarism of the islamderthal scum.

The ACLUs desperate need to publicize isn't driven by a moral wish to improve our soldiers behavior. It's driven out of a wish to enrage and encourage the enemy.

Now the ACLU is actively siding with al Qaeda.

It is time to round up the entire organization, try them for treason, and hang each one of them.

You said: The ACLU must have missed the Nick Berg beheading along with the rest of the hostages the islamderthal scum murdered while holding them.

Ah, but that would be a matter for someone who cared about Americans, not the ACLU, which stands for what again???

I guess their proper emphasis should be on foreigners, not those from this country. I wonder how they will be received in those foreign courts. Dicks.

Sorry to shout, but the argument above keeps coming up. Under absolutely no circumstances should the behavior of terrorists be a benchmark for our behavior. Bad behavior cannot be excused because worse behavior exists.

And then, enters human nature. You think American soldiers were angels over in Europe in WWII?

Savagery breeds savage retaliation. Why do you think they say War is Hell?

I am not defending the ACLU, nor would I suggest any kind of equivalence between the actions of the barbarian filth that are waging war against Western civilization and the actions of the US armed forces.

I do, however, believe that American troops must act as a disciplined force and adhere to the military's own rules. Apparently so do the US armed forces, because it is their work that has uncovered the allegations of wrongdoing, not the ACLU's work.

The ACLU and their fellow-travelers in the media will surely act to sensationalize this information in a transparent attempt to inflame the passions of America's enemies while demoralizing the military.

In the interest of time. Tie 3 at a time to wooden posts. Have 12 highly motivated people with rifles stand in front of them at about 15 yards.

Detail A-ten HUT!
Port ARMS!
Half Right FACE!
Front Rank KNEEL!
READY!
TAKE AIM!

FIRE!

NEXT 3.

I have no animosity towards Muslims. I do, however, insist that Islam be eradicated from the planet Earth.

Just as, if I had been alive in the early 1940's, I would have had no animosity towards Germans. I would, however, insist that Nazism be eradicated from the planet Earth.

The ACLU: The fine folks who tell terrorists to excercize their 5th amendment rights even if they know of an impending attack.

I don't think Islam is compatible with civilization, much less modern civilization. There are too many parallels with Nazism.
