'Suicide bombers' held in Bosnia

Security has been stepped up at embassies and foreign agencies in Bosnia following the arrest of two men accused of planning a suicide attack. The two individuals, who have been detained under anti-terrorism laws, are being held in Sarajevo.

One of them is said to have recorded a video reciting Islamic prayers which may have been intended to be found following his death.

They were arrested last week but details are only now emerging.

'Capable partner'

The two men hold Swedish and Turkish citizenship but are believed to have originally come from the former Yugoslavia.

According to sources close to the investigation, they were carrying explosives at the time.

Weapons and other military equipment were found at premises linked to the men.

Thanks for the kind words. There is wealth of information on the Web, most of those in non-English sources. For example, this is link from “Independent” newspaper from Banja Luka.

“Independent” is pro-international community and anti Serb; today they showed document from October 2001 made by Republic of Srpska intelligence agency. They are naming 40 muslim terrorist living in Bocinja. This is village in central Bosnia from where they expelled Serb civilians. Basically, terrorist came during the war to fight Serbs and with help of local muslim politicians they stayed. After 9/11 some of them disappeared.

This is list of the first few names – they stayed to live in muslim Bosnia. List is stating their Arab names, date and place of birth and new names similar to the names of local muslim population:

These terrorist probably left muslim Bosnia.
