The Book Of Job says God rides the whirlwind and directs the storm. In the face of Wilma's fury, we see a clear demonstration of God's glory. Its enough to humble human arrogance. The lesson of Sukkoth with living in temporary palm-covered booths is that the only cover of all of us have in the face of life's perils is God's protection.

Thank you for sharing this experience with us. While being extremely wary of the hurricanes and serious storms which I've seen, I nevertheless find something terrifyingly beautiful and majestic about them. The power and might unleased in those storms is beyond description. "The lesson of Sukkoth with living in temporary palm-covered booths is that the only cover of all of us have in the face of life's perils is God's protection. " Amen.
