Tests are God's ways of seeing how we live up to our potential as human beings. Suffering is not pointless. Rabbi Akiva once said simply "suffering is precious." We are asked to look within ourselves and see what we need to do to become better human beings. Abraham is famous for having endured Ten Trials. It was precisely because of his hardships that God blessed him. What we consider to be of evil consequence can in fact turn out to be a blessing for us even if we don't quite realize it at the time that we suffered. For we are sure that God will eventually make everything right. That is His nature, Blessed Be His Name.

Perfect! Thanks.
We praise HIM during the trials, also. A cleansing and purging time that whatever is not of HIM - let it be torn out by the roots. Ouch! But we still praise HIM for the work HE does within us.

Hey, I didn't know this was your article. My post was rather abrasive. I apologize.
