Remarks made recently by Kamau Kambon have received widespread coverage on various websites, blogs and in the media. In some cases, it has been incorrectly reported that Kambon is an employee of North Carolina State University. Kambon sporadically taught at NC State on an as-needed basis. He has not been employed by the university since June 30, 2005. Informed of the comments, NC State Provost Larry Nielsen released the following statement:
" The remarks recently attributed to one of our former employees do not in any way represent the values and standards of the university. This type of speech is counter to any reasoned discussion on the issue of race relations, and is absolutely unacceptable in the NC State community."

Kamau the Clown.
I think he was still listed on the web site last week.
You'd think they would have figured this guy for what he was BEFORE they invited him to make the remarks.
I missed what he said. It must have been way, way over the top to actually get a reaction from the university...
How could ANY reputable University have ANY need for an a$$hole like "Kamau Kambon"???
I would think THAT could only be a University that had lost it's freaking mind!
He said that all white people had to be exterminated.
Good on NCU.
I can't help but wonder how he would be received if he had said that all unborn white babies need to be killed.
Oh, I remember reading that. Just forgot which idiot said it...
I liked him better as Lamont Sanford
He preached genocide....
He thinks that for the black man to "survive", they must kill all the whites....
That's all!....... Imagine.....
Nothing to see here - just your typical black lunatic that must be excused due to the left's bigotry of "lowered expectations" and self loathing..
Or if he had said all white people should be enslaved.
Of if he had said all white people should be enslaved half their working lives.
Jonah Hex, NCSU class of '81
Who is he?
Perish the thought that someone read the title and think it was referring to UNC, right? :-)
I'd love to know what sort of degree this guy has. During the broadcast of his statement, he was described as "Dr. Kamau Kambon." However, NCSU is very careful to identify him only as an employee, not a professor (a title generally only reserved for those with PhDs). He was probably never more than some low-level adjunct faculty.
Likely a small bone of contention, but I get peeved when folks try to pass themselves off as something they are not in order to get more respect.
I'm sure he can find work with either the DNC or NAACP.
