In the end, a 30/30 put the poor beast down. I reached out to make the cut to bleed him, I had to put one last .40 hollow point in him. It put me off eating meat for several hours... :^)
I'm just curious. Where did you shoot him. I know in the head but where? What method did you use to determine where the brain is?
