One morning, you wake up to hear the thunder of loud trucks coming down your street.
You look out the window and a troop carrier is unloading about 15 armed troops and they proceed to your neighbor's house. They knock on the door and when it is opened, they move in. A few minutes later, they come out holding the 18 year old son by the arm, take him to the troop carrier, and then a group proceeds to your house.
A knock on the door.
You open it.
"Are you Alfred B. Jones"?
Yes.
"We are here to enlist your son James into the US Army and remove any weapons you may have in your house. Do you have any arms?"
Sounds unbelieveable.
But then again, Who would have thought that tanks would roll in on Waco and burn a group of men, women and children to the ground when a simple arrest of David Koresh could have taken place in the local shopping center parking lot.
