You'd never know it with the MSM coverage since yesterday. Everything focused on the helpless and hapless big city dwellers from liberal land.
That's kind of a jackass remark, since at least 10 times as many people live in the east coast parts of the state that got hit compared to the extreme southern bits of the Gulf Coast that got hit. Ft. Lauderdale is a big city, Marco Island is a smaller community. And the east coast had some of the strongest effects because of the counter-clockwise motion of the storm.
If all you want to do is bash northerners, why not join one of the many neo-Confederate threads?
Boy, you're not kidding. I went online today for the news, which is where I get it all, and I had to LOOK for info on the hurricane. And we're STILL (gag) hearing about hurricane Katrina relief efforts. (Apologies to those OUTSIDE NO ) It's all "poor NO".
Just checked: MSNBC.com it already complaining about *slow relief* and FOXNews.com is carrying something about it. Must be a slow day in the news.
