Happened to catch MSNBC segment this afternoon on the usual fault finding mission. Reporter crying that people are miserable...NO ICE!...NO ANYTHING!

Reporter stuck the microphone in one guy's face to get his reaction. The guy said he was very impressed with all the efforts by everyone to assist following a bad storm. Very pleased, and thanked everyone.

Another agenda interview snuffed.

The weather has been great after the storm, cool and clear skies. Few people are suffering that I've talked to. But waiting in line for government handouts can do that to a person. Non-government grocery stores have been selling non-perishables since the day after the storm. The worst thing is if you need gas. I'm in one of the worst hit areas, and it's the worst I've seen since Andrew. Roof damage is widespread and lots of trees down. The place is denuded. But at least the power came back on a couple of hours ago. I thought I was going to be without it for about a month.

Well thank goodness someone had some sense when a microphone was put in front of them!

I am just amazed that Jeb is having to apologize for ANYTHING. How dependent and soft has our country become? Last summer we lost power in two out of 3 hurricanes that hit us- Charley took us out for 10 days. It was miserable- but it didn't occur to anyone I know to BLAME someone. We just griped about the heat and humidity and dealt with it. We knew the power companies were doing the best they could- we saw hundreds of out of state trucks all over the place working...

That's why the government tells the citizens a zillion times to be prepared.

I am more convinced than ever there is a direct connection between liberal thinking and the kind of reactions we're seeing after these storms. It scares me.
