This was an easy one: "our soldiers had not been instructed in Muslim burial customs. Their actions were taken in the interests of the health and safety of the people of Afghanistan. In the future we will insure that instruction is provided to prevent a recurrence of this incident. By the way, it should be noted that Al Qaeda leaders have assured their homicide bomber candidates that they will suffer no penalty in the afterlife, even if their bodies are 'defiled' or otherwise can't receive a proper Muslim burial. ...Next question?"
